Be a team in the 2026 MDBR!

The 2026 Million Dollar Bike Ride will include one participation level. Please review participation offered for the MDBR 2026.

Participate in the ride as a way to generate interest in your disease area. Your team independently raises funds to be used at your own discretion (ODC encourages money be used towards a research pilot grant). The ODC will not offer matching funds but we will offer grant assistance if you choose to use your funds for a pilot grant.

All Teams affiliated with rare disease are eligible. If there are multiple teams affiliated with the same disease we will ask to create one team together.

2026 Team Participation includes: 

• A professionally organized, staffed, legally permitted, and insured event safeguarded by city police and EMTs, as well as Penn police

• A suggestion of 15 participants minimum (includes 5 cyclists minimum + 10 volunteers/cyclists)

• Opportunity to fundraise for your organization on your digital fundraising platform of choice 

• Opportunity to raise awareness/promote your organization/cause and engage your community without having to organize your own charity event 

• Opportunity to use fundraised dollars at your own discretion (ODC encourages money be used towards a research pilot grant). The funds your team raise will not funnel through the ODC

• The ODC will not provide matching funds, nor will the ODC receive or issue funds on behalf of your organization
